Bob & Penny Lord

Bob and Penny Lord have authored 25 books, two of which have been translated into other languages. They are television Hosts on EWTN and have produced over 200 television programs for EWTN over the last 20 years, which show five days a week. As lecturers, they travel all over the world, giving Retreats, Days of Recollections and Conferences on the Faith.

 

For 30 years, Bob and Penny have worked as pilgrimage directors leading pilgrims to the Shrines of Europe, the Holy Land and Mexico. They continue to lead Pilgrimages to Shrines overseas and in the United States. In other endeavors to spread the word of God, Bob and Penny have founded the Holy Family Mission and the Holy House of Loreto, in Morrilton, Arkansas. The Lords are recipients of the Poverello Award, the highest Award given by Franciscan University of Steubenville.

 

 

 

Father Gary Sumpter

Fr. Gary Sumpter has been a priest for twenty-eight years. During that time, he has done many years of parish work, both in California and Washington State. He also has worked as a hospital chaplain, and for six years taught high school religion and served as chaplain at a Catholic school.

In addition to his work in teaching young people, visiting the sick, and helping in parishes, Father Sumpter has given many parish missions, preached at retreats and days of recollection, and spoken at numerous adult conferences on the Catholic faith. Not long ago, he completed a brief manuscript on the Gospel prayers of Jesus and his disciples.

Father Sumpter loves hearing confessions, offering spiritual direction, and leading Bible studies. He has given several courses of instruction in the basics of Catholicism as pat of the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults, and has a special love for the writings of the Fathers of the Church and the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas.

For the past year, Father Sumpter has been associate pastor of St. Joseph’s in Fortuna, California and priest in residence for the people of St. Patrick’s in Scotia, California and Our Lady of the Redwoods in Garberville, California.

 

 

 


Father David Anderson

Father David Anderson was born in Jamestown, New York in 1953. After completing his B.A. at Wadhams hall College in Ogdensburg, NY and theological studies at St. Vladimir's Seminary in Crestwood, NY, he was ordained to the priesthood in 1983. He has served pairshes in Portage, PA, Lynnwood, WA, Ben Lomond, CA and is currently the pastor of St. Peter Eastern Catholic Church in Ukiah.

 

He has translated a number of printed editions of patristic and Byzantine liturgical texts and his perhaps best known locally for his teaching of Scripture, the Church Fathers, and Eastern Liturgy for the Archdiocese of San Francisco and a number of parishes in Northern California.

 

 

 

Eric Genuis

Eric Genuis is a composer, virtuoso pianist and captivating performer. Since 1997, he has been performing his works throughout the world, in countries including the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, and Poland.

 

In addition to performing for millions of people, Genuis has composed and recorded 4 CDs and written music for film, documentaries, television and Internet media.  Having recently recorded with the famed Maestro Allan Wilson of London, England and the Slovak National Symphony Orchestra, he is currently touring the United States with an ensemble of world class musicians.

 

Eric's educational background includes a university science degree in Physics, Biology, and mathematics, as well as a degree in Secondary Education.  His musical education includes achieving First Class A.R.C.T. Honours in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto. In addition, Eric has completed course work in film scoring from the Berklee College of Music.

 

His concerts are a definite must-see and have proven riveting for all, from contemporary music lovers to the most sophisticated classical musicians.

 

 

 

 

Luz Elena Sandoval-Lord

Luz Elena Sandoval-Lord was involved with the Charismatic renewal and joined the Holy Family Mission ministry in 1983.  In this ministry she wears many hats, one of which includes the translation of television programs into the Spanish language.  She is in charge of Bob and Penny Lord's Pilgrimage outreach, conferences, and trade shows as well as being involved with various Mission activities.
